This is the perfect harness for my huge, female doberman. We use the front ring exclusively and it really does keep her from pulling. The materials are very strong; the harness has been exposed to salt water repeatedly, as well as brush and mountain conditions. She loves it too. I've travelled with her in the cabin of an airplane with it and it hotels, etc. I cannot imagine using another harness. Highly recommend.
