Blade, stooped forward and down at the angle 45 degrees
toward the base, connect with fore paw at the angle 90

The lengths of shoulder blade and shoulder are almost
equal.
The height from elbow to withers is equal to the height
from the ground to elbow
The legs when viewed sideways and in front are absolutely
straight and parallel with each other from elbow to
metacarpus; muscular and tendinous; the bone is strong.
In normal state (general position) and during movement
the elbows are pressed to the chest

Dactyls (paws) are well-arched, compact, “catty”, never
turned neither in nor out

Back angles are balanced with fore part.
Pelvis is at the angle 30 degrees towards spinal column
thus making a little rounded, well developed croup.
Shanks are at right angle to femur, they are long and
wide, two-side muscular with clearly-developed stifle.
Fore and hind shanks are of equal length
When dog is resting, its hock is perpendicular to the
ground if bent.
When dog is viewed from behind, its legs are upright,
parallel to each other and too widely placed to be in harmony
with body composition.
Dewclaws if available are removed.
Paws, the same as forepaws, are cattish and never turned
in or out.
Coat
Smooth, short, wiry, thick and bushy.
Invisible grey undercoat is allowed on the neck
Color and Tan
Allowed colors: black, brown, blue and fawn.
Tans: red, clearly defined, set above each eye, near
mouth, throat and chest, on the paws, on the pads and below
the tail.
White area on the chest is not more that ½ quire inch is
allowed
Disqualification Dogs not of an allowed color
Movements
Free, level and energetic with nice reach of forepart and
good driving power of hinder part.
Good strong drive of hind limbs when trotting
Each hind foot moves in line with forepaw on the same
side
Hind and front legs are not thrown and bent
Upper part is strong and firm
When properly built dog moves at fast trot it will
single-track
Temperament
Energetic, alert, determined, fearless, amicable and
obedient
Judge has the right to remove any timid or aggressive
Doberman from the ring
Timidity: a dog is evaluated as timid if it refuses to
undergo examination, if runs away for the judge; if scares by
approach from the rear; if gives a start at sudden and unusual
noises.
Wickedness: the dog that attacks or tries to hit on the
judge or his assistant is aggressive.
Aggressive or combative attitude towards other dogs will
not be regarded as malignity.
Disadvantages
Previous description is the description of perfect
Doberman-pinscher.
Any deviation from abovementioned described dog will be
penalized up to the deviation.
Disqualifications
Undershot is more than 1/8 of an inch, overshort more
than 3/16 of an inch.
